Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Whooo-Hoooo!  Got in Monday evening.  Got the pressure in the tires topped off and Traveler cranked up after the 2nd attempt.  Didn't even turn the phone on Tuesday - just getting rid of jet lag.  Yesterday got a little air time but had to repair the AC at home for most of the day.  Had some stuff to do today with insurance, etc., so Traveler and I got some sweet wind today.

Went to a bike shop just to see what I wouldn't want....They did have a sweet Can Am Spyder in Blue though.  I had to leave when a guy said he was going to trailer his bike to Florida to ride.  He said, "Why would I want to ride in Florida if I already rode 8 hours just to get there?"  And the salesman agreed with him...He said, "Yeah.  You will make better time in your truck because you don't have to stop as much and why not ride in air conditioner in this heat instead of sweating on a bike?"

Well, I had to walk out and slid into the saddle, patted Traveler on the tank and off we went into the sweat causing heat....hahaha.  I couldn't believe what I had just heard.

To cool off...  2funny I stopped at Mel's Diner on the way home and had some home made cobbler with ice cream and a cup o' joe.

And two plates of chicken spaghetti fits just fine in the saddlebags along with green beans, corn, biscuits and garlic bread - that way Red doesn't have to cook tonight.

Well, was able to get about 65-70 miles in today and each and every one was most sweet - and still got my chores done as well.

All I know is I am gonna get some wind in this time in - for sure and for certain and I have seen the last of Africa and work for a few weeks - not even going to answer the phone if it shows up as work.  Enough of the chain gang - time to play now.

Hey Warren if you feel like taking a trip up north. Come on up for our ACD ride Next weekend the 26th. We are going to cruise up to the Auburn Cord Deusenberg Museum in Auburn Indiana. And then a short ride in the country side and then back to Auburn to go through the WWII Museum. After that back to my house for a cookout. Dad is making 1/2 pounds burgers. So if that sould like something you might want to do drop me a line. Welcome home..........

When I was at the dealer yesterday, they sure had some nice, sweet Can Ams.  I had never seen the blue one before.  They had the matching trailer for the blue as well - I really liked the color.  Like I said, I had not seen the blue one before.

They had a silver one too and a yaller one to boot.

I will be going somewhere - that is for sure.  Gotta get some new skins on Traveler first.  Rear skins is gettin' fairly thin.

And MAN, IS IT HOT!!!!  Not just sweating hot, I mean seeing spots hot!!!!  I was trimmin' the Bradford Pear tree in the front and doin' some flower bed honey do's and BOY HOWDY!!!!!!!

I am gonna have to get into the wind just to cool off.  crazy2 crazy2 crazy2

Oh, and FB, I am sure you know about Lamonster's Spyderlover site - they have some great info there.

Off all week, how's Floyds in Beaumont sound. Denise and I would love to break bread with you. Maybe we could get a group together. Give us a shout if you catch any wind in this direction. Glad your back state side.
