If I die, the wife will be rich. I am sure one of my Valkyrie Friends can fill in better than me. That next guy is gonna have it made. Heart Mendin ain't supposed to ride Al is back in the saddle agian. I think if I was gonna die the dance floor with 3 different woman and twenty dollars worth of quarters, would have done it. Thanks for the dances. I strangeley feel like Stanley Steamer with all his woman. Big Al

Joe: Let us know how it compares to the Hoot. One of the local Hoot volunteers is the head volunteer organizer for this rally. My 4 yrs at the Hoot was fun; I miss it.

I don't miss the Hoot, but Knoxville misses the Millions of dollars it brings in. It's always too hot. Humidity in East Tennessee in the summer is unreal. about 95%, it is almost like it is raining sometimes. Big AL It's cool here on the Dragon though.

I'll be heading over there this morning (Fri.). I don't have a good feeling about it though - hope I'm wrong. I haven't seen or heard anything other than the web site. Could be fairly small. I'll pay my $10 & make the best of it though. I would like to see something fill the gap that Honda left. All I know is that the Boss Hoss factory demo trucks will be there, & I think the local Harley dealer will be demoing some Harleys. I saw Boss Hoss in Ashville a month or so ago & rode a 385 H.P. one with straight exhausts. Very impressive - a real monster. Cost $10 to ride about 6 or 7 miles, but I did get a tee shirt included. Was worth it to me. I'll try to post this evening with any news for those going Sat.

I guess you could'nt expect much more after all Honda killed the greatest cruiser to ever roll down the highway when it dropped the Valkyrie.

Just got back & had a very good time. The crowd was light. Too light, I think for the rally to be successful. Harley did have their factory truck there - The rides were about 10 miles or so. I rode a trike, a 1200XR (dirt track replica), & a Street Bob with the high handlebars. With the light crowd, people were riding several times back to back. No having to schedule a ride. Saturday may be different though. A very impressive stunt bike show. I got hot & headed for home about 2:00. The "Swap Meet" is not inside the gates, but up on the hill in the livestock barn area. Didn't see anything I needed there though. lb

Did not look like anyone had advertised it.
Or the Economy is at fault.
But It seems that this event is not up to it's billing.
Sad
