Big Al and I went over early this morning in hopes of beating the heat ( it worked somewhat ) . I'm sure this event did'nt get the response that Knoxville was hoping for. We talked to several vendors that was'nt happy with the small turn-out.We did see a couple Valkyrie's the first one in these pictures is for sale ( the saddlebags are Champion ) .

Picture of the other Valk we saw ...

The next few pictures are some of the bikes I saw that caught my eye. The first is a 1950 model Schwinn bicycle.

I really like the looks of this manufacturer's bikes ....They have a unique look just like the Valkyrie has its own look in the sea of cruisers.

Pretty sharp check out how many disks the exhaust has...I had a set of Super Trapps on a Kawasaki ZL 900 I had a few years ago.

Any of you folks that attended The Honda Hoot over the years in Knoxville at this same location will know when The Hoot was here this parking lot was packed to the max with bikes and on the weekend's the parking spilled over into The Knoxville Zoo parking lot as well....As stated before we went early and did see several bikes headed that way when we left but I'm betting this The National Biker Rally will be a bust .

I remember walking about 3/4 of a mile to main drag after parking bike. Was a "SEA" of bikes to be sure.  Wink

Well Duh.

Redneck Engineering.

Nice Bikes.

Can't lose with a name like that.

Turnout was Low.

Pitiful.

But the Advertisement was a Picture of a Chopper on the Dragon US 129 , trying to replace

The Honda Hoot. Did not make sense and Joe saw through this mistake as soon as he saw the

ad, a Chopper does not represent even 5% of the riding public.

Call it the Knoxville Hoot.

Get Hooters Restaurant to sponsor it or something.

I hope they did not spend a lot of money on this.

Few more pictures from today...This bike was for sale $3,500.00   Shocked

Truth be known in 1998 just day's after getting my yellow/creame Standard I jumped on one of these going down a two-lane highway in North Carolina....The dude smoked my Valkyrie   ???

You might as well take the car  Undecided at least you would have rain protection ,a/c and a heater .

  Joe
Those vests work great. I used mine under my Joe Rocket
jacket with the vents opened. They are great if you do,nt
mind getting your shirt wet.
