Got tired of watching the nutdog climbing a tree trying to get a squirrel and decided to get some warm wind. Went out to Honda of Lafayette to try and eat them out of business. They use to do Honda Dogs on Saturdays and I hate the dealer and always felt that I was another dog into putting them out of business. Anyway, rode over and I guess they don't do them anymore. Maybe I did help eat them out of the free dog business.

Rode over to Southside Honda where they use to do burgers and I always left money in the jar - I like that dealer. I reckon they don't do burgers anymore either. Well, I got to check out the used bike shop next door. Some nice old Honda 350 scramblers and a trail 70 in there.
Back on the road and just rode aimlessly around through Maurice, Milton, Youngsville and eventually to New Iberia. Red had given me a pair of new sunglasses for Father's Day and I wanted to check them out - at least that is the excuse I used for just riding aimlessly.

Well, they worked great - no problems with wind blowing around them or anything. It was a tad warm - heat index around 100, so I stopped in this place right off the highway called Tasty Treats.

And grooved on a nanner split - oh yeah baby! That is one of the cool things about being sober (yesterday was 6 months). Man, I am digging on ice cream now.

Then it was time to get on down, get on down the road - may as well have my post nanner split smoke while getting some wind, ya know.

Went out to Avery Island - where Tabasco is made.

Then swung over to Jefferson Island where the drilling rig drilled into the salt mine 30 or more years ago and drained the lake and actually made the rivers run backwards.

Then ran past the place where 4 years or so ago, the guy I was riding with went sailing into the bayou and broke his arm and into Delcambre where I checked out the shrimp boats. Needless to say, there are a lot in port right now.

Then it was time to point Traveler back to the house, because I think the grandbaby is coming over this afternoon for a visit. Anyway, got in about 100 warm miles and let me tell ya, they sure WERE SWEEEEEEEEET!
Safe winds ya'll.....

Oh yeah, and as a bonus for anyone with high speed, I was groovin' on this song between Delcambre and home and hit repeat twice. Again, safe winds. (PS: When I just tried to watch from here, it said that the embedding was disabled - just click on the link beneath the picture).
