Rode from here (Big Stone Gap, VA) through Damascus and Mountain City down to Blowing Rock on Friday afternoon. Ate at the Peddler Steak House in Boone and stayed at the Azelea Garden Inn. The inn I highly recommend, great bed and probably the cleanest place I have ever seen. There wasn't even a dead leaf in the parking lot.
Got on the Parkway Sat. morning and rode north to intersection with 58. Then rode 58 home which was a pretty nice ride itself.

Don't fret Sodge, I am still working on , do I Put the lid down afterwards, or leave it up.

Funny thing happens, in the middle of the night, Wifey falls in, because the lid was up and it was dark.

Priceless.

Don't have the Pictues to prove it any more but Lucky 13 and Joe and myself tried that one time

with Snow on White Top Mountain.

Needless to say we did not get far.

But we lived to tell about it.

First time I rode it there had been heavy rain a few days before, gravel all over the road. That was bout a week after I got the Valk, still a little wet behind the ears with a bike that big. Ridden it several times since and I love that road. Perhaps you try it again during warm weather . cooldude

Sounds good. When the weather is nice and I am riding more it just seems like the weekends don't come quick enough. Smiley
