have a 98 tourer with 6 into 6. i took out all of the baffles for sound (of course). now it pops and cracks. does it matter? will it hurt something else?

Probably won't hurt anything but you've reduced backpressure. It has leaned out the carbs by allowing more air to flow through the engine. You may have to enrichen the carbs with pilot screw adjustments or rejet it.

I did the same thing to mine 3 months ago. It pops as well but it doesn't hurt it. I didn't do anything to the carbs or make any adjustments. It Runs Great!
I have lost a little back pressure but it seems like it has a little more power of the take off.
No Problems Here Yet!
I Love the way it Sounds!!!
