Hi!
If ever you need to replace your Valk fork tubes, Fast From the Past offers aftermarket tubes. The price of these are less than 50% of the OEM price. I have not seen or used these ... just passing on the info.

Left fork tube (614 mm): 05-0538sx

Right fork tube (620 mm): 05-0538dx

Note for JeffK:
Is this a potential candidate for your "Generic Parts" list?  Cool

I don't understand how they expect to get the cast-on part of the tube ( the part that holds the axle, brake caliper and fender) off your OEM and locked into their replacement.

That would be part number 24 in the fiche.

The cast part unscrews. It is on with locktite, but if you warm it up a bit they just unscrew. I took mine apart and had the lowers chromed.

None of my business Jeff ... but it might be a good idea to add this comment to your parts list entry. Otherwise this question might come up often.  Smiley

They sure come out "purty" don't they?  Cool

Funny part is that I have never installed these after getting them chromed because of ... KewlMetal fork bottoms. Oh well LOL!
