About to mount a trunk rack on my 2000 IS and unsure which RTV sealant to use for fortifying trunk lid. Any suggestions? Thanks

When I mounted my luggage rack on my I/S, I used o-rings for all penetrations--no leaks and I wanted a buffer between the rack and the plastic.
