I have the Kuryakyn LED Voltmeter installed and hooked up to the lights in the speedo housing.

I only get one green light lit up while cruising down the road. most of the pictures I have seen show two green lights lit; Where would be a better place to wire it in? the headlight?

 ???

Mine did the same thing. Ran me a hot wire from the battery to the headlight and all is fine.

wouldn't that mean it is on all the time? or is it switched off when I turn the key to the off position?

I'm staring at the wiring diagram in the shop manual and I'm all cross eyed now... LOL

Forgot to mention I have a fuse panel that only works when key is on. I ran the wire from there. The fuse panel has a relay to trigger it.

I only get one green as well, as long as that's normal for my hookup, I don't worry about it. At idle it's green unless I have the brakes on or it idles for a while. It also drops to yellow when the fan is on below 2000RPM. I suppose you could characterize it if you had an accurate DC power supply to record what voltage trips each successive LED. I doubt any two are exactly the same within 100 millivolts. (.1 volt)

I tried a few hot leads and foound that I didnt get a true reading like I did hooking directly to the battery.  Yes it would be onn all the time, but I put a switch in the ground wire (so my power wire from the battery stayed pure) so I can turn it on with the bike being off to check the battery charge
