I picked a month and ran through the years... I didn't know Jon got a date with the Vet back in 1990!

I've been hanging out at the comic strip newsgroup since the 80's - they mostly look down on garfield...
I think Jon is an awesome looser...

Calvin is my 'alter ego'   cooldude ...  Loved the strip from the start, and have had your link saved in favorites for a long time now.

My helmet has a 'Butt Naked' Calvin sticker on the back...  When I get a chance to play, I try to do it like Calvin would  Wink

Yeah, Garfield is about as amusing as Cathy IMO, just phonin' it in. But Calvin & Hobbes, man I still miss that strip. Maybe he did it right going out on top instead of just getting stale like so many comics do, but for selfish reasons I sure wish there were some new ones. C&H and Far Side, my two all time favorites.
