looking for a replacement windshield for my I/S. The stock one is maybe 1-2" too short, helmet buffeting at highway speeds. Cee-bailey's, clearview, and Big Bike Parts all look like good replacements. Any input?

I just installed a clearview on my i/s. Not only went taller but also wider. I am very happy with the end result. Added light gray tint and the vent, what a difference. Do not notice the tint. The windshield took longer than they said but worth the wait. Hope this helps.

Put one on my 99 I/S from J C Whitney ( Show Chrome ) years ago...works great and holding up real good...alot of rain and even some snow has tried to beat it up...still cleans up like new  coolsmiley

When I got my I/S it had a ShowChrome/BBP windshield on it. I did not like it and thought it was a bit too tall. I had 3/4 inch removed from the upper part, but I still did not like it. After researching all the alternatives, I settled on the Cee Baileys. I chose the stock height and light smoke tinted, and could not be happier. I highly recommend the Cee Baileys, for a great quality product, great customer service, great looks and no distortion at the curves. Also comes with a cleaning/polishing product!!! cooldude

When mine got bad enough I replace it with the Cee Bailey Wind shield, they will make it wider and taller for you, matter of fact the will custom make it to your needs and it is high grade aircraft windshield material. I’ve had it a couple of years and it still doesn’t show any wear.

I like the F4 Windshield.  Very scratch resistant, so you don't ge those little swirl marks after a while.  They also make plus sizes.

Honda has two Interstate windshields. One that is stock, the one you most see on Interstates, and another which it taller. I think about two or three inches taller.

Clearview will make you one 1-2 inches taller. I love mine. A little annoying if it is raining but makes me have better posture. I also ordered the GW luvered vent.

Dave,

I have a Clearview shield that is 2in taller and 4inches wider... I love the shield but I contacted clearview about installing a vent and they said it would be better to buy a shield from them already installed by them than trying to "fit" one after it's on the bike.   So, I have considered selling mine and ordering a new one w/ vent.  For what it's worth... I really do like the shield and it works well even when it is blistering hot here in Kansas.  If your going to the Inzane you will see all different types of shields for sure.  I have the one that is tinted as well and really like it.  You can't really tell it is tinted but at night when the on coming headlights are coming at you, you don't get the glare...

Hope this helps...

P.s..   Call clearview and see how far out they are on making a shield for you... I had to wait about 6 weeks so that might be a prob for you or not...

I have the showchrome and like it  alot. Two inches taller and 4ins wider on each side than stock. I'm 6'2 and can just see over it.
