and I'm a Valkaholic!

I know now that I've been a Valky since my first ride but was in denile until recently. I just bought a different Valk after owning the first for 11 years. The classic Red & Cream '97. 78,000 miles. I was drunk with speed on that Dragon, Rode her hard, ya, HARD! on track day at Road America twice, Blackhawk Farms four times, and down the 1/4 miler at Great Lakes Drag-a-way a bunch. Best time, 12.63.

The old bag(r) still had plenty left in her but my eye was startin to wander, you know, the 11 year itch.
Sooo, on a whim I dicided to upgrade. Got me a sweet young lady, a '98 with only 27,000 church miles on her. I'm getting ready for my first Inzane now. I need to be with other Valky's. An intervention if you must.
I do have a question that I haven't seen addressed completely. I know this subject has been covered and recovered and this particular part also, but not completely. Trigger wheel engine vibration upon acceleration. I had a trigger in the '97 for 65,000 miles and no engine troubles except for that minor motor vibration. Before I tearfully sold "Kandi" I removed the trigger and put in the '98. The vibe is back even more so. I'm thinkin of going back to the stock wheel but like the extra horse and 40 mpg. Dats right, 40 mpg range probably because the previous owner polished the intakes and I decided not to beast her like I did the '97. So,
what actually causes this trigger wheel engine vibration. Now I might be a newbie typing in this forum but been reading for a long time. Yes, Im using 93 octane and real gas (no ethanal when I can) I plan on putting many miles on my retired butt now and don't want wear the ole broad out before 2021.
