Think about this, the Gold Wing Engine started out as a Flat Four(4) Boxer Engine.

1200, to 1520 then to 1800 plus.

Good way to start.

I don't know how folks feel about Victory over here, but I've always thought  the Vision had a pretty retro-future styling. Just imagine that power plant in a Vision.
I did a blog about that also.
One thing to note. In my PhotoShoped vision above, the engine is much larger than it would be in a real install. It would also sit farther forward leaving more room for the rider's legs.

Hey Al, it started as a 1000, then 1100, and THEN 1200....to 1520, and now 1800+. Truth be known, the early experimental designs of the flat-4 1000 was actually a flat-6 with more CC's. In the end, Honda opted for the flat-4 with just under 1000...but still called it a 1000.

I just sent Motus an e-mail suggesting a bike based on a Mustang with that longitudinally mounted V-4. Aw heck, let's just have em stick on a couple more pistons.  Evil
Let's see I'd say about 200 HP.

Waiting patiently.   tickedoff

Why? Are you planning on riding back there??

(It's a joke, son...I say, just a joke son...)

Actually, I've put almost 1000 miles on my Valk, since I got her a month ago. And my wife hasn't been on it once, either to sit, OR ride it. I think this is the only bike she hasn't ridden. Not sure if she will, subject to change, of course...she IS on the insurance, after all...

I test drove the victory vision, the only thing I didn’t like about it was the engine!  To me the victory engine sounded like a carnival go cart!
