Lifes to short to have regrets

Bought a pair of the Classic Style in July 2007 and have worn them ever since....awesome boots.  They were great once on, but a bit tight getting on and off.
Last week when trying to remove them something gave way and I couldn't get my foot out for a long time, when I eventually did, part of the inside came away and the boot is now stuffed.
I emailed the people at Cruiser Works and asked about a repair.
They emailed me straight back and stated that they were sorry for the problem with the boot and that they would like to replace them at no cost to me other than the shipping to New Zealand.
Well, "stone the crows mate", I cannot believe that a company would stand behind its products to such a degree, it is unheard of in this part of the world, thats for sure.
So to all the members out there that want good boots and damn good after market service, I could not recomend the people at Cruiser Works more highly.
Hi 2dawind....yes I am still missing her Sad

I agree. My shoulders no longer allow me to pull on boots without laces, so my slightly used Cruiserworks are for sale if you hear of anyone needing some. They are size 10. I've worn them about 10 times, not hardly enough to try them well, but they have gone through two rainstorms (my feet stayed dry). Half price at $100 if you hear of someone. I know, I need to put this in classifieds, but I have so much extra bike stuff it will take me a long time to list it all there. I just saw your post and thought I'd try.
Please forgive me for the hijack. If you say so, I'll delete this.

I wear a size 12 myself in your American size, Down Under here in New Zealand I wear a size 10, apparrently we also have wider feet from always wearing jandels...flipflops to you and Thongs to those pesky Australians Grin. So when we get a US boot we have to get the EEEEEEEEEE size 2funny

Thanks, and I understand. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 4E............probably why the CW boots kill my shoulders when I pull them on!!!

YUP, I've owned a pair for about 9 years now, no problems, still waterproof. A very good value.

Great boots, I have 2 prs. and my wife wears them as well.  Fast service when you send them back for re-sole service.

I guess you go to "cuiser works .com"  to see them?
I love my "Original Swat Boots" , not only a great Bike Boot plus have a zipper to put them on in 2 seconds but they are the most comfortable boot or shoe i've ever worn and i have titanium and screws in my legs and theses Swat Boots support me great and they are as light or lighter than my tennis shoes, only a few onces, Google them , i bought mine at the infamous  "laughlin River Run" for $100 US, they last for years, my 280 pd friend weares his everyday and 5 yeras later they still have life on them! cooldude

Most western boot stores carry "Boot Jacks".  EX..Taking off your right boot...put your left foot on the place provided to stabilize the remover (the boot remover is on the floor BTW) and insert the heel of the right boot into a  "U" shaped area and pull your foot out of the boot....2 seconds...easy to take on trips...looks like a sling shot with a wide handle...bettern' than rolling around on the floor and triggering a stroke... cooldude

I've had a pair of Cruiser boots for years.  Great boot and definitely waterproof.  In the last four years I've had arthritis in my ankles and the boots wouldn't go on since they were tight to begin with..  I've had a local shoe repair guy put heavy duty zippers on them and problem solved.  No, I don't know if they're still waterproof but the zippers have huge flaps  covering them.  Well worth the original price and the $60.00 to install the zippers.
