#1-- My favorite probably, had it set up the way I wanted.  1999 I/S

#2-- This one ran like a scalded dog.  1998 Standard

#3-- The best handling one I have owned.  1997 Tourer

#4-- Current sweetheart.  1999 I/S with Hooker mufflers made for Harley-Davidson.

I'm a little new at the Photo Stash and hope this works. Smiley These are my 2. "Red, White and Blue." I did sell the Red and Cream a couple weeks ago. Sad

I've only owned three. Still have all three although Kerri (Firestarter) is under the impression that one of them belongs to her.

My first (Always will have a special place in my heart for her)
'97 Fast Black Standard in Tourer trim (Black Betty)

'01 I/S (SuperValk) in that super rare color that everyone I meet seems to have, LOL

'00 Standard that I kinda stole, which has since been stolen by my wife (but I get Black Betty back in trade!)

Only owned one and I haven't been able to wear it out yet.

I'm working on the wearing it out part, 242,000 miles + change.

Trying to catch DDT, and I just heard he rolled over 400,000 on his.

I'm on valk # 18 since 2001. I presently have a  supervalked 99 I/S that I bought in 02 and a 2001 I/S that I bought a year ago. I spent most of my time on mainly 4 different bikes,2 I/S,s and 2 Tourers. Over 1/2 of them I sold to hard core Harley owners who made the mistake of taking one of my Valks on a test ride after showing alot of curiosity and questions asked..I wasn't sure I really wanted a Valk until I test rode the first one myself. All it took was that 2 mile ride and I was HOOKED BAD !!!!! Since then I've logged over 130,000 miles between all of them altogether and still rolling up miles every chance I get.

Have had 4 to date, working on buying no.5. bought my '01 blue/white standard in '03 - still in the garage. got my first red/black I/S in '06 w/ 8k miles, was talked into selling it last year @ 35k. got another red/black and my friend decided he liked it, so now it's his and i found my blue/silver I/S all chromed out & it will take me to Sturgis this year. now looking at a green I/S. so i guess that means i'm obsessive about valks, but can you blame me ?? it is the best bike ever made and i'm still converting others by spreading the word and the bikes, ha !!

Got this 98 Tourer new in 00 with 1200 dealer miles. Repainted in 02/03 after a, sigh, trailer accident.  Embarrassed 15k miles on it uptill I got divorced in 06. Just rolled over 58k yesterday. Most with my partner. Valks still #1 and she knows it!  Grin I want to get another but of coarse it will be for her. Like to find a fixer upper. Not sure if I would like 2 for myself. Hard to decide which to ride.

Just one. Green and cream 97 Tourer. Love it. She found me and waited.
The ex wife got replaced by it and the new wife encouraged it.
(somehow that dosent sound right.)

When I test rode a Rocket III recently, the salesman asked rhetorically 'What is the right number of motorcycles for someone to own'?

His answer:  ONE MORE!

I have owned four.  This one is my third.  (If I remember how to post pictures.)  My present one, the fourth, is a red and white '97 Standard... has a hitch and cargo trailer, am converting the cargo trailer to a dog hauler.  Have owned half a dozen other bikes since my first Valkyrie, but keep coming back to the Valkyrie as nothing else compares even though I'm out in the boondocks with deeply rutted roads and no roads to get home.  Have had several dual purpose bikes, better for where I live, but can't stay away from the Valkyrie.  Present Valkyrie is my 46th motorcycle.

Ok, so...none...yet Smiley

I'm riding a Honda Shadow 750.  It's my first bike, and I'm due to trade up.  I joined your crew so I could get a better feel for the Valkyrie, and so far I'm not dissapointed!  Those are some beautiful bikes you all have!

I'll be lurking around, and occasionally asking questions of you all until I can actually park one in the garage.
