In my never ending series of questions I should know the answer to, how about this one?

With the ignition "on" but the bike not running, should the temp "idiot" light come on?  Like when you go to start up your car and all the lights go through a self test.  (2000 Standard)
Was out riding yesterday and noticed that it does not light up on mine, and for the life of me, I cant remember if it ever did.  If its supposed to, how hard is it to get the chrome bezel of the Tach pod?
Guess I out did the "idiot" light.  Undecided
Do I get a cookie now?  Grin

Nope. Not on. Seems silly, but that's the way it works.
