That was one of the individuals who was standing outside a polling place in military garb, with a billy club, during the day of President Obama's election.  He was hurling racial epitaphs and waving his club in an obvious attempt to intimidate voters.  This was recorded on video, supported by eye witnesses and reported to D.O.J. In fact one of the witnesses  was an individual who worked with Bobby Kennedy on voter's right's issues.  Obama's appointee, Erick Holder has declined to fully prosecute the case. Furthermore a well respected attorney for the D.O.J. has resigned in protest over this case and has provided sworn testimony that higher ups in the D.O.J. informed subordinates that they WILL NOT be prosecuting voter's rights cases where the plaintiff is white and the defendant is black.  On the strength of the aforementioned attorney's testimony, more subpoenas are being issued for other employees of the D.O.J.  The D.O.J. is trying to prevent said employees from providing testimony.  This all casts our "post-racial" President's administration in a bad light.

Hmm…  I guess you were using a metaphor when you described this incident as “rolled out ATF tanks”.  The story mentions an FBI raid.  No tanks or ATF were involved as far as the story describes.  It appears that the FBI was on track with this raid, and nine members are facing charges.  In my brief research, it appears the Hutaree group was picking up where Charlie Manson and his Helter Skelter group left off.
