I put a Mustang with drivers backrest on the Valkyrie. I had one on the Aero almost as long as I owned it. The seat put my longer legs over the pegs really well, however if I lean back, I had better be on straight road because my grip to hand continuity is weak.

I have not yet moved the bars down, though that is the next step. I am curious if there are any risers out there that are more popular than others if I go that route.

First I would say is to drop the bar a little and try that. If that doesn't do it start looking for a set of Risers, I have had a set of Aeromach Risers on mine for years, back an inch and up an inch, max before you need rerouting of the cables. Check this for riser Comparisons

Dropped the bars back this afternoon between call outs so I didnt get a chance to road test it. Helped a bit and with the backrest cranked up its close to where I want it, close but not quite.

One of the benefits of a drivers backrest is that you can reach behind you and wind it out or wind it tight to change the angle a bit. The ole spine hasn't had a easy life so shifting positions and pressure is pretty handy. Heck, the risers only cost 2 trips the the chiropractor.

I think that it will be risers soon. Kinda like those phat ones, and back about 2 inches would be dandy. That and since I they have been calling me out every 4 hours, the saftey chrome would already be paid for.  (But honey, I NEED that so that people will see me better, you wouldnt want me to get hurt would you?  angel)

As to re-routeing the cables to the rear of the t-tree, it looks like they all run up the back now, am I missing something?
