Today we drove from Jamestown, ND to Deer River, MN.
Deer River was my dad's old fishing area back in the mid/late-60's and I have not been here since 1970, 40(!!!!) years.  Wow, how things have changed.
Tomorrow, we are taking US2 through Duluth and from there we go east (and south).  Laser Pat and Texas Deb will be in Escanaba on Tuesday night, so we are hoping to hook up with them and ride the last leg into Bellaire together.  Pat, if you read this, check your email, I sent one to you at 9:45PM local time Sunday.

Gear Jammer and  I are in Minneapolis/St Paul area tonight and tomorrow.  Planning dinner with T.P. and Nancy tomorrow evening then Tuesday heading up to Escanaba, then Wednesday on into Bellaire.

We have had rain both days.  748 miles yesterday, not bad for the first day on the road.

Many thanks for the hospitality of Stude13 and his wife for putting us up last night and feeding us.

So nice to have this wonderful extended family of ours.
