Just Google it, but the Amish will be excluded too. I also didn't realize that you can have IRS liens placed against all of assets, including real estate, cattle, cars etc. and even accounts receivables, and will face prison time because of refusal to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. This means that all Muslims will have their health care needs paid for them free of charge without any buy into the system including no penalty. tickedoff
On another Obama issue

He has allowed this drilling and financed the whole thing because Soros his financier is 67% share holder in the company and the oil that comes from the wells drilled is already under contract by the Chinese. We will not get one dime of the proceeds we are just writing the check, Why isn't this bringing a look by US authorities?

Ok, I did Google it, and here's what I found:

Also, on your second point, a link to a NEWS article would carry more weight than a link to an OPINION letter.

Bobo thanks for that I did a recheck and heres what I found
Soros hedge fund invests $811m to buy Petrobras stake

http://www.entrepreneur.com/humanresources/compensationandbenefits/article207122.html
Senate Bill, H.R. 3590, pages 273-274

There are several reasons why an individual could claim exemption, being a member of a religion that does not believe in insurance is one of them. Islam is one of those religions. Muslims believe that health insurance is “haraam”, or forbidden; because they liken the ambiguity and probability of insurance to gambling.  This belief excludes them from any of the requirements, mandates, or penalties set forth in the bill.  Other excluded groups include Amish, American Indians, and Christian Scientists.

August 15, 2008

London: Billionaire investor George Soros bought an $811 million stake in Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) in the second quarter, making the Brazilian state-controlled oil company his investment fund’s largest holding.

As of June 30, the stake in Petrobras, as the Rio de Janeiro-based oil producer is known, made up 22 per cent of the $3.68 billion of stocks and American depositary receipts held by Soros Fund Management, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Petrobras has since slumped 28 per cent…

Heres what Obama is financing
The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.

Bobo thanks for that I usually go to fact check but just took a look through Google and most agreed with what was being said. But there still is a problem with the deal with Soros

Well, here’s another link about the Soros matter.

Bobbo's posts would carry more weight if they came from someplace besides an IP address next to that bridge in MO.

On the other hand, entertainment is entertainment, no matter where it comes from.

I think watching trolls stir the pot with their political BS comeback arguments is better entertainment, by far, than those soap operas my mother used to be addicted to.

So, for entertainment purposes only, troll on Bobo, SE and Scannnnnnnnnner.

Woo hoo!  It don't get no better than this.   Otherwise, today would have been just another boring Monday.   2funny

Robert, maybe one day you'll become educated enough where it might be worthwhile having a debate with you.  Meanwhile, there's little point in entering into an argument with those clearly lacking a basic education in the fact situation of which they so energetically post.

Seriously, Strong Eagle,  do you feel the need to demean people's intelligence every time someone says something that you don't agree with?
Did the mankind project teach you that?
Yes, we are all in awe of your vast intelligence, your worldly knowledge, your diversity, your tolerance, your understanding, your manliness.  Pardon me if I don't bow.

Charge: The loan to Petrobras represents a reversal of the Obama Administration’s policies on off-shore drilling.

Fact: The Bank’s bipartisan Board unanimously approved the preliminary commitment to Petrobras on April 14, 2009, before any Obama appointees joined the Bank. In fact, at the time the Bank’s Board consisted of three Republicans and two Democrats, all of whom were appointed by George W. Bush.

Read Chairman Hochberg's Letter to the Editor that appeared in the August 21, 2009 editions of the Wall Street Journal.

Comments like that give a disturbing glimpse into your character as a human being. You are either stunningly arrogant or just full of bile. It added nothing of worth to a relatively respectful discussion that hadn't involved you. Strong Ego indeed.

I should know better than to post in one of these threads....

But from the article:
Quote
Having gone through the list, we can say with certainty that no Muslim group, and indeed no non-Christian group, has ever qualified for an exemption under the statute used to define exempt religious groups in the health care law.

Nor are they likely to want to, says Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which opposes discrimination and defamation against Muslims. "I’ve never even heard it brought up as an issue," Hooper told us. "I have health insurance. We give health insurance to our employees. Every Muslim group I know of does the same thing." Hooper told us that he has seen some Muslims raise religious objections to life insurance, but not health insurance, and that, in fact, providing health coverage is very much in line with Islamic ideals of social justice.

So there you go.  Muslims are not exempt, nor do they want to be.

Also, this is good to note:
Quote
Finally, the e-mail repeats one other claim we’ve debunked before. It says that "I … will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax." This is false. The House version of the bill left open the possibility of criminal penalties for deliberately evading a tax for not having health insurance, but the Senate version did not, nor did the final law.

There is way to much to explain about how detailed the transactions are and how many to list entirely on this post or any post for that matter. To really get to the heart you have to dig a bit and sift through some garbage till you get to the bottom. I have posted these quotes and links so you can do a little exploring for yourself and not rely on any publication to say weather its a good or bad thing. This is the plan and the money trail you can do the rest. I am sure that Obama never knew what was happening as to the US giving the money to Petrobras why he wouldnt have come into office knowing anything would he nawwww just as new as they come 2funny 2funny

Enter George Soros

Democrat party fund raiser and chief architect behind MoveOn.org and other liberal strong arms for the party runs a hedge fund called Soros Fund Management, LLC.  SFM sold 22 million shares of Petrobras on August 14, after the post-announcement run up in price.  According to a report on the filing from Bloomberg.com, Soros then purchased a smaller stake in preferred shares of the company, which pay a 10 percent dividend.

Follow the money: Part deux

"Soros boosted his stake in oil company Hess Corp. to 5.1 million shares as of June 30 from 3.7 million at the end of the first quarter, according to the filing. Hess was Soros’s second- largest holding. He also added to stakes in Houston-based Plains Exploration & Production Co. and bought shares in Calgary-based Suncor Energy Inc. and InterOil Corp. in Sydney."

U.S.-based Hess Corp. does not yet have extensive operations in Latin America, according to the map on their web site.  However, their HOVENSA joint venture with Petroleos de Venezuela refines oil in St. Croix V.I. so that they can then import it into the U.S.  This operation provides up to 495,000 barrels per day, one of the largest refineries in the world.

So in April, Ex-Im bank decides that they are going to start funding Petrobras purchases of U.S. oil production goods and services, but they fail to create a press release until July 29 so that Ex-Im can announce it on their swing through Latin America.  In the interim (June 30), Soros has the prescience to buy heavily into U.S. companies likely to benefit from offshore oil production... EVEN AFTER IT HAS BEEN STOPPED by court order off the coast of Alaska.

Excuse me, but I must stop writing and go hurl.  Do they think we can't figure this stuff out?

Don't forget me!! And WHATEVER you do, don't let "facts" get in the way, of fantasies!!

"political BS comebacks"? Dont' be ridiculous. Pointing out truths, instead of misleading innuendos, is NOT "political BS comebacks". Believing everything the Cheneys, Limbaugh's, and now the Palins and Becks, haven't helped any situation, one iota. Especially when they are so easily proven at least misleading, if not often just outright lies. Death panels? Here we go again...Muslims? Here we go again...next it will be the birthers, and tyranny, and the same ilk, all over again...

Oh well, Round 497...

I find that the best way to lead is by example and if Eagle you are holding yourself as a example of what a educated person is then I will be very happy to stay the way I am. In truth I have been around some very educated and powerful people and find your type of reaction is something most would laugh at and have pity on the person as one that has not the ability to express himself and therefore will never make it. The Bible also says God will use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. So be careful for one day you may find that all your knowledge and the little nasty ways you have will all come to nothing and your fall will be great. If you display this kind of behavior on this board it shows whats really in your heart and what lack of real substance you have inside of yourself.
I appreciate other point of views and sometimes may bring more clarity to a story I dont want to be anther Inquirer and surely dont want to stir the pot just for the sake of action. Plus some of what I have found to be true I wish it wasn't. I share a point of view that a majority of Americans have that Obama is not good for us. He is having no trouble doing things that lessen his popularity so I dont need to help. But just so you know I also have a problem because in the Bible its written that there is no power except what God appoints and that He appoints our politicians and head of government. It also says to pray for them, so I may not like what they do or who they are but I am told to respect them not because of them but because God allowed them to be there. But that doesn't mean I have to be silent when I see something wrong. I am not aligned to any political party but want our politicians to step up to the plate and do the right thing. I know Bush did some not so good things too I think though that Obama has the you know whats to push things through that no one in history has been able to. I think this is what the real problem is.
