Guys,  I have a batch of I-Pods from past upgrades, with songs still on them... mostly classic rock stuff... 30GB's &  60GB's --  8, 16 & 32 Touch's.   All work great, you'll need headphones, some will need USB cords  ($5-10 at Big Lots or TJ Maxx)...   Various prices  $75 up....   Any interest for me to bring them?????

Paul, I would bring them.  If I had the extra $, I would get one as a backup.  I love riding with my ipod.  On an IS, double male connector (extension available at almost all Walmarts - I picked my present one up at the base of Cheaha when the cord would only play out one side) and plug into connector behind right side cover and TUNES BABY!

That is my iPod hanging off my right hand handlebar.  Cheap black case (that is about to wear out after 3 years or so) hangs it from the throttle lock.

Also picked up a car charger for the iPod at Walmart a few years ago when on the road - don't remember where - maybe Texas.  Charge as I ride in case the power goes out before I can charge it up in a hotel room at night.

That is the charger wrapped around my handlebar.  Anyway, I LOVE MINE!!!!!!  Makes the perfect riding tunes machine.

I have been wanting an I-Pod.  Or to be able to figure out how to use my phone for it.

I need to connect to the IS, and rig a chager.

All things on my "todo" list.

I hope to see you in Michigan Paul.  It's a bitch when I have to go thru 3 states just to see my buddy that lives 50 miles from me.

Jabba, the iPhone or ANY player (mp3 or whatever) with a female outlet on it will work and it's an easy do man.

Just go to Walmart or wherever and get like a 6' extension jack (at Walmart they will be a double male - that is what you need).  Take off the right side cover and you will see a female plug (with a dust cover on it I think).  I tie wrapped the extension to existing cables to my right handlebar.  Mounted the iPod on my throttle lock.  Ran the cable under my tank and through the area under my seat and plug each end in (one jack end into the plug under the right side cover and the other into my player - tie wrap up extra cable under the right side cover) and Voila.

Just turn the radio control to AUX and off ya go bro.  On the iPod and I have an OLD small one but it still gives me like 6 days of music without hearing the same song twice.  Bird and Moonshine and I traded CD's back and forth and I was able to fill mine up and we both got some free tunes that we didn't have before.  Kind of neat turning each other onto tunes.

We have a server full f MP3's at the office we all listen to.

My ohone is supposedly an MP3 player... but no one can figure it out.

I'll get there someday.  one step at a time.  A day job, my own company on the side, a wife and a 3 year old keep me hoppin', I'll tell you what!
