Cool video of the recent ride in the Kootenays - starts with a fable, but it mixes nicely into the ride

I'm ready to go back and ride the 31A road again...I only rode it three times this year. You boyz got some fine ridin' up there.

Oh yea, I don't think it is easy to beat the Kootenays or Hwy 3 from Hope to Osoyoos - Its motorcycle Nirvana or more appropriately in this case - Valhalla!

I am not a fan of the part of BC Highway 3 from Manning Park to Princeton....  too busted up.

I love the Kooteneys though!

I picked up Highway-3 in Elke,BC and rode all the way to Vancouver In June, 2004. It was a fine ride. There were a few rough spots and some large road construction projects but that was easily overlooked due to the beauty of the ride, the road and the scenery. I remember coming down out of the mountains and seeing that beautiful city split by the river. I think it was Chilliwack but can't be sure.

Would have no hesitation doing it again!
