Hello a few months back there was talk of someone trying to replace ring gear and pinion. Was wondering if it was done?  As I would like to get a worn out pumpkin and rebuild it as I have done a few pick ups, cars and possi trac diffs. If someone has a used rear end they would like to donate let me know. this will be a winter project, because sooner or later used good ones wont be available
Thank You

Hey, I know what you're sayin'.

I've been looking for a cheapie rear end for some time now.

I started a thread just as you have but evidently somebody didn't like it and it was removed.

We ought to start a "need this part" listing!

Hey dudes! I may have a used rear end for ya. Have to check my storage unit. I know the splines are shot in it, if it's there. I'll check tomorrow.
