I put a new rear tire on so I changed the  copper exhaust gaskets as well. When i was laying on my back under the bike on the left side, a lock washer hit me on the cheek. Looked around while i hand the carbs off and i havent found where it went yet. It is black and the inside diameter is about 1/8". Any ideas?????

No, removed the exhaust for  easyer access to the rear wheel and a good clean and polish. Had an exhaust leak so i put on new gaskets.
Found the washer. Over the winter cleaned out the carbs due to clogged jets. That may sound better now.

I think I recognize that part.

Look here:

Part # 23 I believe.
