I've seen a couple threads regarding folks who have the subject speakers.  Based on one thread I went ahead and bought a pair.

Now to install.  I called every Honda dealer around, close and not so close & their service dept's are booked for days... one even through next Friday.  I then called a local car audio place based on their web site... they've done sound systems for a few Harley's.  They can do it Monday, but want 2 hrs labor or $150!   Shocked   Shocked

The install instructions don't look that difficult, but I don't know how comfortable I am with it.  I mean, I've never taken the tank off, and it looks like that would be an important step for running / hiding the wires.  Plus I found a Kurykyn Youtube video of the speakers being installed on a Harley, and the guy strongly suggested plugging them into an auxiliary port vice directly to the battery.  Apparently, if you do so and then forget to turn them off at their own switch, it'll run your battery down in a couple hours.

Anyway, have any of y'all installed these yourself?  Better yet, is anyone located in/around Columbus, OH who might could lend a hand so I could get these babies up & running?

Thanks in advance.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Nothing better then getting in there and learn abut your bike!  cooldude

I hooked mine to the Acc port, later to a axilary fuse block along with the other goodies. It was realativly easy. I made sure I could get to the inline fuses without taking the tank off, which is easy to do. Ran my mp3 cable up under the seat and tank bib, now I can put the player in the pouch out of the weather. I did this in a evening.
