A Burple Challenger. Come on that surely isn't on anyones top 10 of modern cars.

I think the list is pretty flawed with it's modern slant. Most modern cars are pretty bland. One of my favorite modern cars is on that list. Quattroporte.

Go back quite a few years to cars like Bugatti, Cord, Delahaye and many others as can be seen at the Pebble Beach show every year. These cars had style.

Shelby's 427 Cobra and Ford's GT40 street legal model tickle my fancy.

Audi is one of the top technical manufactures in the world producing cars and engines for many brands. Bugatti, Lamborghini, VW, Bentley and more. Audi are really awesome cars and unlike Mercedes and Bmw their cars are repairable and work well. The look should have been ahead of some of the cars on that list. I say bump off the Jag because it looks like a  Ford Taurus in the front and put Audi in there. It will beat the Mustang in 1/4 mile or o to 60 times along with the Dodge and it does it with leather,5.1 audio, .a/c power brakes 4 wheel drive and all the comfort not a stripped down drive like a truck look good wanna be. Dont get me wrong I like the old school stuff, but why battle to go fast?

The V10 engine produces 386 kW (525 hp) and launches the open-top two-seater to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 313 km/h (194.49 mph). Featuring technologies such as the Audi Space Frame (ASF), quattro permanent all-wheel drive, full-LED headlights and with an innovative seatbelt microphone available as an option, the R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI quattro is the new top-of-the-range Audi.

Peak output of 386 kW (525 hp) is reached at 8,000 rpm, and the rev limit is not reached until 8,700 rpm. Specific power output is 100.9 hp per liter of displacement; each hp only needs to move 3.3 kilograms (7.28 lb) of weight.

To me one of the most beautiful cars is the '99 Miata..................and I'm prejudiced.

Miata did what the British couldn't do:  make a reliable affordable small sports car without any quirks or foibles.  The lines are clean and functional.  The power, while modest is suited to the car.

I could drool over the latest from Germany or Italy but I couldn't afford them.  The Miata suits my style and that makes it the best for me.

My ex stepson once told me we as a family were poor.

I pointed out to him the 4 TV's, 2 PC's, his lap top, 3 phones (pre cell phones), 2 cars, one bike, HVAC, fridge, hot and cold running water etc etc ............................................................... You get my point I hope.

at the restaurant I do believe there was a shelby cobra, a GTO, a vette and a few others.

That was the closest I have ever been to the Shelby and it was real nice

was always partial to the 69 vette and Mach1 and the 67 camaro myself

I think the Shelby was a kit car.  The GTO was very nice, but I think that was a LeMans with GTO badging.
