I was at the last Vet Rally in Cripple Creek...by accident!  A friend of mine was the event director for Cripple Creek and when I stopped in to say hi.. he asked if I was staying for the event.   I did, and in fact, helped work traffic.  Lots of bikes, lots of vendors too!!

I saw "colors" from most every part of the nation, had to laugh at the Springs S.O. that had his wants and warrants printed and was looking at them as the riders road by.  I believe he was asked to put them up... I don't think he could have handled the problems an attempted arrest might have started!!

Beautiful country, good people up there in Cripple Creek.  Been doing chuckwagon events up there for years...

Been riding through Cripple Creek twice now and man, I dig that area!  Misfit took us through there on the ride through Colorado a couple of weeks ago.  When we left out of Cripple Creek back to Woodland Park, we went down the road through Victor and back up to Woodland Park - nice ride!

Man, they sure have some HUGE ore mountains (hills of ore) (slag?) or whatever you call it.  WOW!

Awesome country up yonder - that is for sure and for certain. cooldude
