Hello Again
Now that I'm running good, I would like to install and aux front light bar W/ lights, and I would like a little better sounding exhaust. I'm looking at the kurykan light bar W/led turn signals, and the cobra 6 into 6 exhaust. I'm concerned the exhaust might be toooo loud.
  Any advice would be appreciated.
  thanks

I wouldn't want the Cobras on my bike, but they're not so loud that they bother me when they're on my Buddies bikes... some pipes
are so loud that it is torture to be behind them... Cobras make a Valkyrie sound real good, maybe at the expense of a few horses... I think
you can still get MarkT's pipes and the ones from carolinabikeandtrike.com, so there are other choices too...

My buddy Henry's Kuryakyn light bar's chrome pitted real bad, don't know why. When you plan your wiring, make sure it includes
a relay...

I had Cobra pipes on my bike - and the sound is terrific.  Moreover, the loss in HP is negligible and shouldn't be noticed.  However, if you do a lot of highway cruising, you may (depending on your helmet, etc.) tire of the constant drone.  (I suspect this probably applies to any non-OEM exhaust).  This was my only complaint.  Terry

I had the cobras and loved the sound. I explain it more like a ROAR when you hammer it.  That being said I also love the stock pipes for the quite ride plus with the stocks I now average 40 mpg verse 36 with the cobras.  I wish they could be changed out quicker because some days i do miss that rumble. One thing more when I had the cobra pipes on a few Harley guys commented on how good it sounded and it gave me a great bike Grin

I have cobras on mine and like the sound.  New Tourer for me and came with the 6 into 6 pipes, so I can't compare to what was on the bike before.  I think it makes people driving around me more aware of where I am.  I ALWAYS wear earplugs though unless it is just down for gas etc.  It always surprises me when I don't have in the earplugs.

I have also read many times that the Kuryakyn light bar LED turn signals are barely visible........ not a good thing in left turns.

I recently changed my exhaust from stock pipes and Honda Line Triple Tips to GlassPacks and 36"truck stacks. "Packs and Stacks"

I like they way they look and I like the sound. A nice low growl at start up, a good burble at idle, and when the throttle is wide open, give a subtle roar. At cruising speed, no drone, and not loud enough to prevent me from hearing my speakers.

It all depends on your personal preference for what you want in an exhaust system. The Cobras sound great,if that is what you prefer. Cheesy
I opted for my system.
