know this has been beat to death but maybe someone can benefit from my goof-ups. I installed Kuryakyn Tranny Covers only to find that they will magnifie the great sounds of the Valk. tranny. I was to the I point of removing covers because of my ears picking up the whine of the tranny, MUCH more than normal. Several said to try "undercoating" to reduce whine. I did this, two coats, no help. Some said do "DYNAMAT". Well after suppliers tried to RAPE me, the only way that can happen is with my WIFE, 1FAST6 got me hooked up with a Co. that would sell my two 10x10 sheets for $15 to my door. Bottom line, the Dynamat does reduce the whine about 75%, at least for my ears. A tip, don`t let the mat reduce the clearance of the "spacer" on the spacer bolt.
BTW, Thanks John. AKA, 1fast6.
BTW, smokinjoe suggested that I install these on my Tourer when he saw it on the Whiskey Run Dry Run. I`m going to kick his ass when I see him next.  Well , maybe not. I like Joe  Undecided

I've followed your cover adventures with interest.  I have a set in the new parts box to put on this winter.  The best price for dynamat I found was on Evilbay.  $22 total shipped.  Can you part with your suppliers name?  Any more info on the spacer clearance.  Glad you worked this out for you and ME.  LOL.  bill

I too if possible need a source for the Mat at that price a pm would be nice thanks. A question what kind of oil are you using I know you didn't have a problem before the covers but sometimes a different grade or brand will make a big difference.
