I've ran approx. 7 different car tires over the years and have landed on a inexpensive tire that works really well. Hankook Ventus HRII, I run a 225/55-16, it is the best handling tire yet and cost $96.00 + tax at PepBoys. I know I'll go to hell for this but I'll be the guy selling lemonade!!!!!!!!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Hankook is a great tire. I was going to go with the Ventis but ended with the K-106.  cooldude

A 225 and no rubbing?  I've got a TOYO Proxes T1s in 205/55 .  I paid about the same as you did.

Did a little mod. on the swingarm to make room. Shade tree job. A real welder could do a nice job but my torch and hammer did the job.

I'll try a Hankook next time probably.

It won't be a 225 though.  No hammering my swingarm to make a little more room.  angel angel

I've been running a 205 55 16 Hankook for 3 yrs and I love it.  It was $65 and was mounted free.
