Unfortunately I let the battery die in my camera while traveling through Wisconsin...and missed some great footage (a good excuse to go back again).  However, I still managed to get a few decent clips....hope this brings back some pleasant memories...it certainly did for me!

The camera is a ContourHD 1080p with a Contour Universal Mount Adapter.  It is mounted on the handlebars with a Ram mount with a 1/4-20 thread bolt (for connecting to the Mount Adapter).

That is the same route we took, I will never get tired of the ride along Rt35 and Rt2 along the lakeside. It comes at a point that we are starting to get but sore, but it wakes you right up it is so beautiful.

Great video Jim...  I'm sold... I'm buying that camera!  also...  at the very beginning of our trip leaving Marinette, Michigan we went to fill up and had no clue where JimL took off to w/ his wife.  Called him and asked if he passed the "McDonald's" yet and he said no.  So four of us pulled over and waited for them....  and waited... still no Jim.. then he calls us and says "hey I think we are ahead of you... have you passed the road construction yet..."    Undecided  Uh...   No!   crazy2     That's the McD's we were "waiting" for you...   that is too funny!

Great memories Jim... sure was an honor leading such great folks across the U.P...  Oh and if anyone rides through their... Stop and Gladstone's BP/McDonalds they have T-shirts from the "yuppers"...

Thanks for the video Jim...  until next time...

That was a great video and a super choice of music, Jim.  I always enjoy riding with you and Phyllis.  And Joe always makes it easy for us to follow with those two blinding break lights that he runs on the rear of his I/S.  All in all, it was a great trip.  It always is when riding with you guys.  Meeting and riding with Wildman from Vermont was a definite plus.  He sure does spice up a ride.  It was also a pleasure to have my friend & neighbor, Dennis Knox, accompany us on this trip.  His first long MC trip and he had a blast.  Thanks to everyone...JTL

So I'm curious who "Wildman in Vermont" is? I live in Vermont up near the Canadian border. There are a few Valks around up here but not many. I've had mine about 5-years and ride with another Valk rider that lives relatively close. Maybe if you see this post Wildman give me a shout. Always nice to ride with someone who appreciates the Valkyrie as much as I do.

Paul you should be able to send him a personal message through this board.  Simply go to the "Members" button at the top of the page and look for "Wildman".  If you can't get in touch with him, send me your email address to:

Thanks Jim and thanks Joe! Thanks for the messages and especially for the photos. I actually think I have met him briefly at a Vermont ride a few years back on Memorial Day. I'll give Tom a shout when I get a chance. Very much appreciated!

By the way - that video is AWESOME!!! Thanks for posting it!! Seriously considering a camera for myself as well. That setup worked great for you! Super job!!

This all got me thinking - anyone know anything about Inzane for next year? I'm curious when and where it is. I'd sure love to go once someday just so I can say I did.

Thanks again,
