I pulled into a parking lot today to admire a classic piece of automobile, and realized it had a color kin to my Valk.

A nice looking car.

Beside a "river" in Vintondale, PA. This mighty river (the trickle in the ditch) once destroyed downtown Vintondale. Efforts to regulate the water flow have thus far been successful.

Your guess is probably better than mine on the cool looking car. The front wheel coverings said Buick, so I'll go with that. Mid 50s feels right. I'm not a car guy in general. Couldn't tell you most from another.
My wife knows more about car shapes than I do. I just know what I like. And I like big, wide, and older. Cars and bikes should both have big fenders.

Here is a pic of a mural in my summer time town.

'56.  Even in the 50's, GM had standardized all of their cars to similar basic parts with just a few changes between brands.  A '56 Pontiac looks like a '56 Chevy looks like a '56 Olds looks like a '56 Buick.  It's the tail lights that give it away.

That looks pretty good for 54 years old.
