That's nice - I have a tough time reading the tach and speedo on my son's Tourer - that would correct the problem.
Looking at the picture, it's apparent someone found these - hope they speak up.

I've heard of people taking a good picture of their gauge, pulling it into PhotoShop, playing a little trickery, and printing it out on good quality (weather resistant) paper.
In the gauge, they usually won't get wet, so no need to worry about totally water proof.
Once they're printed, with a test fit to make sure you put the numbers in the correct place, simply cut to fit.
You could even print on a transparency so that the numbers come out clear... that way, the numbers light up and the black background stays black at night.

wow, Cajun rider makes that sound simple. You can pick up transparency paper/film for over head projectors at most Office Max or other basic office supply shops.

And while you're adding a black background... may as well put some flames in there!!!

I'd like to know how to get the face off the front of the large gauges. The bezel appears to be impossible to remove to enable access to the glass and face underneath. This is what I did to mine so they would match the three small Autometer gauges which came with blue LED backlighting. I can at least read them at dusk now. Was really quite simple, just pick up some license plate mounting bolts with the LED in the bolt. Then cut some thin SS and attach them on the handlebars, aim at the gauges, and wire them in the headlight bucket so they come on when you turn the key on. The second picture shows the work in progress for mounting, prior to wiring them into the headlight bucket. They've been on there about three years now and work fine.
