I was a member many years ago but somehow lost track of the forum and my ID. Like the man said in "Cool Hand Luke" Hes' got to get it right. So this time I did. I bought a new Valky in 1999, had bags made for it, put on a sissy pad, Kuryakin grips and folding foot rests. The bike resides in my vacation home in San Diego and is only ridden about three months a year to the tune of about 4200 miles total. You see 7 back surgeries and 69 years pretty much keep me in my Z06 Vette at this point. Now when I ride Val its usually just from casino to casino, about 50 miles per sitting. About 7 years ago I had the local dealer put some 6 into 6 pipes onit as well as a set of velocity stacks,. The stacks look nice and they don't get much rain out here so I get away with it. I live in NW Ohio full time and in this location I have a 2007 Goldwing, and it only has 2750 miles on it. My four wheeler here is a hot rod 1992 Chevy 454SS which is currently running a Vortech SC, Borlas, cam, heads and crossovers. Every year I talk myself out of getting a new truck because I just love the old guy. I,m also a gun collector and shooter and have a CCW license. Well thats my mini-bio....motorcysles, cars, guns and casinos...and whats left..my everloving' wife who supports all my addictions. Smiley Wink

The velocity stacks don't let rain into the carbs, they are fake, for cosmetic effect only.  I like the looks of them, and have a set myself.  Hoser  Smiley
