So... This past Saturday night I couldn't sleep. I was bored, it was well past midnight, and I'd already had a beer or two, so taking a midnight ride wasn't an option...

I did something I've done only a VERY few times before... I went out to the garage and cleaned the Valkyrie...

Today, for the first time in over a month, I decided to actually go into the office for work. I work from home the vast majority of the time, but monthly or so a bunch of us all go to the office to remember what we all look like.

I didn't bother to check the weather report... It's mid/late July in Dallas, why bother? It's pretty predictable... High 90's to low 100's, sunny...

Wonderful ride in to work...

And... Of course... This afternoon, massive powerful thunderstorms appear out of nowhere...

I swear, I could take my Valk to the middle of the Sahara, and if I washed her, it'd start raining...

Anyway, no real point to the post, just had to grouse, and explain a bit further why it's so incredibly rare that I wash my bike...
