Blair (lil bull) rode up from Albuquerque on the 9th and converted his bike to the darkside. After a short ride around Ogden the next day to familiarize him with the new feel, we were ready to head for Inzane X.  We rode up through Teton National Park, Yellowstone Park, across Wyo. through the Black Hills, and it seemed like an eternity across South Dakota.  Over across MN, picked up on highway 8 through Wisconsin, through the upper peninsula and across the Mackinaw Bridge and down to Bellaire.  What a event you all put on!!!  Thanks to the VRCC staff, volunteers, and the Michigan club for all your hard work.  The town people were outstanding in showing us a warm welcome as were the folks at Shanty Creek.  Blair and I enjoyed the bike rodeo (he did quit well). Thanks to Scott for your efforts.  It was nice to meet many of the fine folks associated with the VRCC.  Sunday we headed south for east Tennessee.  With the help of Smoke'n Joe, we rode many of the fine roads in the area.  Rode the Devils triangle, picked up highway 58 to 68 to the Cherohala Skyway.  Saw the Ball river falls and then over to Deals Gap where we stayed one night.  Rode the dragons tail four or five times, leaving our share of the foot pegs (what a blast that was) then headed west.  Had to stop in Lynchburg, they do the darnest things with corn, barley, and rye there????  Purchased some of their finest and continued west.  Rode mostly two lane roads and had a most outstanding time.  Got into Alburquerque Sat. afternoon and spent a full day with my granddaughter.  Sun. the 25th, started out in the rain north for home.  Got home last evening after 16 days and nearly 5400 miles on the road all safe and sound.
We live in a most beautiful country.  It was most special to ride with my son across it and spend quility time with him.  We're glad to be home and are looking for our next adventure.  Be safe out there and explore those back roads.

You/ve got a real gem there in Blair.  I am proud to know him.  He's a fine young man AND he rides a Valk!  Fierce competitor in the Bike Rodeo.  He beat me at a few things and I beat him at a couple.

Glad you and him got to make it and made it home safe.
