hello i would like some opinions about the two brothers racing 6 into 6 pipes
i have found a set for sale, the headers are just slightly blued, most of the chrome is in good condition
the person is asking less than i can buy cobra pipes for, but i have personally listened to any of them to know which ones sound better

Cobras buzz and require rejetting. Two brothers 6 into 6 do not require rejeting and sound awsome. Both will blue, as the headers are single wall. I have two valkyries one with stock and the other with the two brothers. I wish I could find another set in good shape. I would trade a stock set for them any day. Barnstormer

I've had both TBR 6into6 and currently have Cobras. The TBR's sound very good and have baffles that cannot be removed. They are fairly loud under acceleration. They have a tighter sound than the Cobras. Check out Youtube for some sound files of both. The Cobras are plain nasty without the baffles, very loud and raspy. Sound like a pro-stocker. I just tried them with the baffles in today and I didnt think they were very loud. A little quieter than TBR's with the baffles in. Cobras are said to lose about 6 horsepower, TBR's are said to lose none to about 3-5 horses. Cobras can be re-jetted or shimmed to get some of the horses back which is what I am currently working on. TBR's will lightly blue or get gold, Cobras will blue a good amount. I just heat painted my headers black to take care of the bluing. Personally Im much happier with the Cobras for the nasty loud sound. More of a personal taste. Heres my Cobras I also cut down 11 inches.

I picked up a used set of TBR's about six month's ago. The header's were very blue when I got them. Other than that, they're in good shape. Compared to the Cobra's I used to have, these TBR's are much louder. And my gas mileage didn't drop like it did with the Cobra's. Other than the blue header's, I'm happy with them.
I'm going to go with the high temp paint on the header's. Just haven't taken the time to do it yet.

You must have had the baffles in the Cobras. The Cobras are much louder than the TBR's without the baffles in. With the baffles in maybe.

When I got my valk, it had the 2bros on it. They look great, and sound great - for a while. Over the course of a year, or so, I got REALLY tired of the noise. They are LOUD to the point of making my ears ring. Now that I have stock pipes installed, several of my friends have said it was no fun riding with me because of the noise. Several of my buddies have the Cobras and I think they sound great with the baffles in. I have a spare set of headers, muffler covers, and IS tips waiting for the 18" glass pack mod. For my ears, that's the best sound I've heard a valk make.

Yes, I had the baffles in with the Cobra's. I had a buddy that had Cobra's w/o baffle's, and they were LOUD...LOL.

I figured that had to be the case cause the Cobras without the baffles are major loud. I was surprised at what a difference the baffles made. I didnt think they would quiet them down so much. Cobras without baffles are definitely for a select group. Having had Vmax with pipes and loving the sound, Cobras without baffles are in the same league.

I took them off after one long ride. Bought some Cobra's, left the baffles in, just right. No re-jet with either.

I can't comment on the TBR but I did have a set of the Cobra 6 & 6 on my trike with the baffles in and they did sound great!
The only reason I took them off was do to the length being too short for the trike conversion. Didn't like the idea of exhaust pooling under the trike when stopped or idling. I wanted the pipes to end just beyond the end of the trike body. If it wasn't for that I would have stayed with the Cobras.
