I've been looking around for a reasonably priced front brake master cylinder, and pretty much every one that I run into has a broken mirror mount.  When I bought the bike it was broken on mine.  I have no problem riding with one mirror, but I would like my bike to look a little more complete.

The master cylinder itself is in great working order aside from the mirror mount being broken.  I would assume that my options are to either keep looking for a fully intact unit or buy some aftermarket mirror mount accessory for each side.  Truthfully I was considering some custom mirrors anyway, so the aftermarket option is almost preferable.  I would hate so set a fully functional master cylinder off to the side anyway.

I ordered an aftermarket mirror mount from motorcycle superstore a few months back, and it wouldn't hold the stock mirror, and didn't really seat on the handlebars in a way that made me feel comfortable.  Has anyone ordered a product for a similar purpose that they were happy with?

The only one I see on ebay right now that doesn't have a broken mount is $99, and you'd have
to use a different cap (rashed)...

Brand new from hdl is only $88.  You have to be careful buying from pinwall...some of their used crap goes for as much or more than new stuff.  Not a big fan of buyiing stuff from crashed bikes.  My rule of thumb is if it costs more than 50% of new (including all shipping), then I buy the new part.

you can use the guts as spares so you don't have to waste your old piece.
