As many of you know, Paul Hinkley, aka Thumper has battled cancer for the last five years or so. When I first met Paul he had already beaten cancer once... But it seems that was one battle in an ongoing war.  Undecided

Well, the latest battle has begun and Paul is about to get into a new round of a different kind of chemo-therapy. This may take a toll. The last round he went through didn't seem to slow him down one bit. It is possible this next round will be tougher.  Angry

Let's all keep Paul in our hearts and on our minds as we do what we can to encourage and support him over the coming weeks and months. Thanks.  cooldude

I wish you did not have to go thru this Paul. But since you must I wish you the best. I pray it works for you and you beat the cancer again.

Will do, Duffy.

Paul is an inspiration for his courage, his strength, and for his seemingly always positive spirit.

Please keep us updated.

Paul, you're in our hearts and prayers.

Paul, you have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers for a complete recovery.  I know what you are going through, and can tell you attitude is everything.  Ive been there, Prostate 6 years ago, and Mesothelomia 2 years ago.  Its one of the toughest battles to face, never give an inch, and never ever give up.  With Gods help you can put this snag behind you.  One thing that helped me is I started planning future events.  Some I have done, and some I will probably never get to, but it gave me goals to reach for down the road of life.

Well, now that my eyes are dry I will tell you this.....

As long as there are bullets in the gun I'm going to keep shooting.

I can't tell you how much the kind words you all have written mean to me.....it's the strength I get from others that keeps me going cooldude

I have always considered it an honor to be associated with group and look forward to our next ride together.  We're not done yet!

God bless you all Wink

We met up with Mike Marshall (Hubcap) for a run through north west South Carolin.  There were 14 of us including Duffy anad Sam Demorest.  The S.C. part was great but after lunch we decided to head south down Hwy.28 to Warwoman road then on to hwy 197 around Lake Burton.

While it was not a race it sure seemed like one.

Peg scraping all the way and very little traffic.

Today was what riding is all about!  GREAT!

Too funny! Grin

So nice to hear from you and your "son".

Just taking it day by day.  I should know something in a couple of months.

Thanks for the kind thoughts Kendall and Nikki.

Are you doing the fall color ride?  Hope to see you both there.
