Went to the local HD Dealer for the 2011 Demo Ride extravaganza

I was not impressed, at all. Road King Classic? Meh. Thought it had a broken motor mount, then I remembered what I was on.  The bikes rev limiter kicks in b/4 you got throttel full open in 1st gear. I am 6'1" and the handle bars are way to short. Pretty colors though.       V-Rod? Powerfull but its a crotch rocket and uncomfortable.  A GSXR is 1/2 the price and twice as fast. I could have rode a new 103 motor, but did not want to wait an hour when I could be riding my Valk.

Hey Bonzo...How ya doing, Buddy? Sounds like this might be the same HD Dealer (with annual BBQ) where we first met a few years ago?? Hope the eye is all healed up.....sounds like it if yer out riding....we'll have to plan a ride sometime soon....

Same dealership Mark, new owners. Last week was their "HOG" event, one of my co-workers won the bike.They want to charge him for the color and dealer prep plus sales tax ! 6300$ for a bike you won LOL. Tough times in HD land!
My eye is much better thanks, I need to put together a winery ride soon!
