Just wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket cruise control for the Valk.  Just had one put on the Harley and it works well.

There is electronic cruise control for big dollars, and there is a mechanical throttle lock for less dollars.

Here is a great billet throttle lock.

Not sure how current the data is, but here's a writeup on adapting a relatively inexpensive car cruise control for use on a Valk:

I did a quick search for the Audiovox Cruise Control and could not find one. Amazon is out of stock and so is everyone else...or so it seems.  Sad

I did find one on EvilBay  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDIOVOX-CCS-100-CRUISE-CONTROL-KIT-UNIVERSAL-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem20b2990076QQitemZ140435325046QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Heres a good one called brake away, when you hit the front brake lever it dis-engauges the throttle lock, I have had one on three different bikes and love them.  http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?model_ID=14&Category_ID=10&manufacturer_ID=296&product_ID=9577&sblid=BrakeAway_Products_Motorcycle_Cruise_Control_for_Honda_Valkyrie_Interstate

This is the best out there, but very pricey.

The one on my Harley, a Kuryakyn (sp?) was about $125 and uses an electromagnetic clutch to lock the throttle in place and when you hit the brake, it disengages.
