J B Weld

I did the desmog a couple of years ago and used JB Weld to seal the holes left in the block. I added a buffalo nickle on the rear ones for a little bling. The nickles do not hold very well. It says on the lable of the JB Weld that it is good to 800 degrees. Any ideas on how or what I can use to hold the nickles in place.

run the nickles down to the jeweler and have them silver solder a short threaded stud on the back. tap the jb weld and screw them in. or if you re jb weld the holes the treads will provide a good grip for the nickels.

A little dab of silicone will keep it there forever.

Thanks for the ideas. I thought of the pins on the nickles, my main concern is the heat of the engine.
Will the solder or silicon withstand the heat?

Scuff the backs of the nickels with some 50 or 80 grit and put them back with some more JB,they should stay put
