146 @ 10 won't be on the "ferry" route.  In fact, we'll not be getting on I-10, which is the main reason Wizard and I decided to go the long way.

We'll take Hwy 6 to Hitchcock/I-45 from our house.  Any one want to meet up anywhere along the way?

Talked to a co-worker who lives in Winnie he said at noon be prepared for a line as all the good people in town like to go there after church. We'll see ya there arround noon. We too may back road it down 90 to Nome and cut accross to Winnie. It all depends on when I get up and rolling.

Lyn-Del, is 8:30 early enough to meet you guys at Home Depot at Hwy 6 and 35 Bypass?  If so, we could be at FB's at 8:15 and ride to meet you.  That would put us leaving our house at 8 a.m.

Ride to Galveston, get on the ferry, then ride on to Winnie.

How does that schedule sound?  If we need to go earlier, we can.  It's cooler riding in the morning anyway.

We'd figured on leaving here around 8:30, so that won't be much earlier.  See you at Home Depot at 8:30.

OK, I've held off as long as I can to prevent an interruption! We had a threat of in-laws this weekend!  crazy2

We'll be riding from Texas City, so we can meet the group in Galveston. Is a route on the island planned yet? Seawall to the ferry ? Broadway or Harborside??

Or we could pickup the group at FM-519 in LaMarque at the Shell station...

We're FINALLY going to get to make a ride!!!  coolsmiley

I figured we'd take Seawall Blvd.  Maybe as much or more traffic but a much nicer view while you're waiting.  Unless someone has a problem with that?

Dodis,

There is a gas station on the south side of HWY 6 just west of I-45, how does that sound? We are thinking  we should be there between 8:50 & 9am

FB,

We will meet you there.

Oh yeah, did you see the chicks at the zoo?  Check out the zoo television at this site:

And if I recall right when I lived on that side of I-45, 8:50 sounds about right!
