BJ and I would like to ride Sunday.  A HD buddy from work might want to go too.  We could ride back to Galveston, ride down on the West end and ride back from there.  Maybe go down to Freeport and ride back up 288 to home.

How's that sound?  Anyway, just call this evening and let us know.

ate three two - two phive zero - two nyne nyne fiver...

The pleasure was all ours FB.  We enjoyed it too.  It was pretty nice while we were moving, but when stopped at lights, it was pretty brutal.  The Buckies in Freeport was a good timed stop...  Smiley

We will definitely do this ride again, but prolly in the fall.  The next time, let's go down and eat, then take the ferry ride over and come back through Anauack...

Had a great time,

Didn't check the board either, was looking for something/anyone riding anywhere. Had to settle for the cage with the wife. Still good ride though.

Have eaten there many times, would love to meet and eat with all of you here in Beaumont or Nederland. On the riding, most of the good roads to ride are away from this area, maybe we could eat here and ride out toward the north a little or lot. LOL

that's probably correct...the roads to ride would be go north...we could gather some Houston riders and meet y'all in Beaumont or Neederland and then ride somewhere. let's plan it...when it cools down...

Or, if you don't make it that far east, Al-T's in Winnie is a good bet too. Between hwy 10 and 73 on FM 124.

Been there many times myself, since my first sister-in-law is from there.

Flamingobabe likes Sartins. Now, your first sister-in-law is from Winnie, where's the rest of them from? Just kidding. I also eat at Al-T's, love their gumbo.

The one from South Texas, the other from south of Texas!

In fact, the last one (still current) is good enough that I married her sister!  coolsmiley

We might be!  I am playing with the idea of riding to Nacogdoches one of the days to visit my son in college.  He doesn't get to come home this summer, because he has been working at the dorm and taking summer classes.
Let me know which day you guys want to ride and I may plan to ride to Nac the other day.  Cheesy

Al-Ts works for me!!  One of my favorite places!

Weather is gonna be HOT, so I suggest we leave early enough to get ahead of the worst of the heat, and to allow an extra stop (or two) to cool down on the way.   No point in arriving overheated .....

My favorite on-line weather predictors show both Friendswood and Winnie as 97 degrees for Sunday.  And so far, they've both been at least 3 degrees cooler than the actual weather most of the time.  So figure on it being around 100 ...

We can meet you at your house FB and ride over from there...  it's kind of on the way for us.  Smiley

If we go to Nac, it will be Saturday.  Don't know if Jimmy3 will have time for us as Saturday is move in day for the dorms and he is one of the Assistant Hall Directors.

Can't wait!!!

P.S.  No, we won't have to wait for Melvin this time.  hehe

Mr. Bubbles working graveyard shift, maybe he only needs about 30 minutes of sleep if he really love riding that Black/Red Interstate. Franco6 has to be at work for 4:30, 12-1ish might work for both of them. What do you think?

Well I talk to the wife and she said she'll skip church one Sunday to go for a ride. So we will be there. We'll probably just blow down I-10 from Mont Belvieu to winnie. If I order coffee, eggs over easy, and bacon yall just remember I'll be eating breakfast. See ya Sunday. cooldude

Change of plans -- we'll meet you there.  We'd rather ride the longer route along the coast, even if it does mean waiting for a ferry.

We wonna ride the ferry too!!  FB, you up to leaving earlier and going that route?  BJ would like to go on the ferry and ride through Boliver if you're up to it.

Probably means that we would have to leave at 7:30 or 8 so if the ferry wait is long we will not be late for lunch.

What do you think?
