OK - I pulled into Ohio yesterday and my folks neighbor heard my valk and was intrigued.

He makes his own headers & Exhaust and we instantly got into a conversation about the Viking pipes that this forum has recently been talking a lot about.

We are getting together today to look closely at the Valk setup and he's stated that he'd like to make some pipes for the valk.  He makes his own custom pipes currently.

Is there anyone that would be interested in forming a relationship and for reasonable costs, participate in the creation of some new pipes? cooldude

I have brand new exhaust and I'm not interested in more HP, but there are MANY of you that are.  My Friend is ni Northwest OHIO, small town, where reputation means everything.  This is not a joke, but a real opportunity.  He also has a VERY good chromer that he uses locally.

PM me or respond here and I'll work to set things up and start some dialog.  We are going to go have some fun now!

I'm on the list for the possible new run of the vikings. If for some reason that does not work out, then I might be interested. My main interest is the larger primary tubes on the headers. I'm unsure how much bigger the vikings are, maybe a 1/8th or even a 1/16th.  Mocking up new one's from scratch is no small task, even for someone who knows what there doing. Your guy will need a "guinea pig" valk and a lot of time. I'm located in socal, so I couldn't help with that.

I'll be doing something with my pipes, but it may be this winter (or next winter, depending on what it takes to recover from the hydro-lock that just bit me).

So I'd be willing to talk with yer buddy. I don't much care about making noise as long as I get performance that's at least as good as stock. I'm not interested in losing 6 hp so I can sound like I ride a powerful bike. I'd rather ride a powerful bike no matter what it sounds like. That's why I bought a Valk.

I have the two brothers 5"canister  exhaust on mine and love it. I would suggest when building your headers to include the cross over pipe. This system was on the bike when I purchased form original owner and he claimed he paid $ 1200 bucks for it and said that no re-jetting required. Since then I have added 6 degree wheel, K&N air and polished my carb intakes. and no smog removal yet. Runs like a raped ape. Recently had my local honda guru adjust my valves and was going to shim carbs but after riding my bike he said leave it alone he was impressed by the power and he rides a 1800 goldwing. Good luck with your exhaust system.
