Hi All,
Just received the turn signals from the OEM people.. I ordered the 2000 ones with the screw at the bottom to hold the lens cover & they sent the 1998 ones which has the 2 screws in the lens cover.. what a pain cost a fortune in postage and customs and vat..now I have to send them back waited, over 2 months. tickedoff
Has any of you converted your turn signals to LED, as I was informed that the best way to do it was to get the 2000+ OEM turn signals and install a Dynamic-Cluster 48 from custom dynamics.. as these would fit straight in.. plus get a load equaliser.. schools out for the front ones at the mo... any info on this would be of great help.. as dynamic is now telling me that the 2000 ones are to small..wish he would make up his mind.
I'm also looking into the Honda VTX turn signals as well.. now that I have to send these back.. so if you done this conversion please let me know or you can PM me.. cheers all recall

I did on my '97 Tourer.  I used Kuryakyn mirrors with led signals on the front.  I changed the rears from the '97-'99 two screw design to the 2000 one screw design with Kuryakyn lenses .  I used led 1157 bulbs.  Instead of using load equalizers I bought Custom Dynamics led turn signal flasher.  Load equalizers just add resistance to the circuit which will allow the turn signal circuit to act normally.  Without the equalizers, your signals would flash fast as if a bulb had burned out.  Unfortunately, the equalizers run hot so you need to put them where they will get air.  Custom Dynamics led turn signal flasher is electronic instead of thermal like the stock flasher so you don't need the equalizers.

I'm with XRing here I just replaced front and rear bulbs with LED ones and replaced the flasher unit with one that does both LED and incandescent bulbs. Total cost was less than 20€.
