Looks like fun!

It is. The photos can't show the size of the rocks, the goopiness of the mud, the ruts in a freshly scraped forest road or the loose, pebbly, slippery surface of the river bed.

I came close to takin' my 4 wheeler out today to play in the mud at Coal Creek . We rode motorcycles yesterday and I was feeling a vibration coming back home  Sad  Spent most of the morning pulling the rear wheel and cleaning everything up....Yep bad left rear bearing the second one I've put on that bike....I'm going to get the spacer-collar machined and install a double row bearing this time.It was time for spline maintence anyhow plus I need a new tire and brake pads. Check Coal Creek out sometime Paul it's the " The Dragon " to the 4 wheeler world with stickers , t-shirt etc. Some very rough ridin' can be found however when you buy the permit ( $10.00 a day or $50.00 a year ) the map they give you will tell what trails are extreme .

Thanks for the link Joe.

I don't like thick mud. I run 70/30 street/dirt tires.

I don't mean to sound like your mother but don't kill yourself on that damn thing; we need you to lead the street group.  Thanks for herding the crowd on Saturday,  I ended up right at 350 miles.  Sam

As I've gracefully aged (Bloody ha-ha) I've learnt (I hope) to understand when I'm getting into it over my eyebrows. I do still have to sometimes argue with myself about whether or not I should continue or go back. I hate going back unless I get to a completely insurmountable obstacle.
