Nice '03 Standard for Sale in Ohio

Member on the Honda Shadow forum saw the bike and posted it there.  He said that it was super clean with full maint. records available to view from the selling dealer.  The price is listed at $5695.

First, I must say thanks to highcountry for posting this heads-up & link for this 03 Valk in Cleveland... why the thanks you ask?

Because I now own it!  





I figured for the price they were asking, it would be a pile. But being only 45 miles from my house figured to go look at it anyway.

Once I opened the door, spotted the halo of light around it and heard angels singing in the background, I almost plotz-ed. The only mark on the thing is a boot-heel mark on the pipes. A buck-89 for some Easy-Off and the Valk will be perfect!

Other than the luggage rack and highway pegs, the thing was bone stock and as clean as any I have ever seen. There is not a blemish on the paint and the chrome is perfect (save the boot mark).

Took it for a spin with 13,999 miles on it. Came back with 14,003 on it and knew it would be mine. They wanted $5695 for it... I offered $5000... no go! Signed on the dotted line for $5300. Life is good!

The Valk is actually for my wife (JoJo)... let Project: Valkyrie Trike 2011 begin!

Let me know if you want to unload the rear end parts after you trike her, I'm the proud owner of a '03 as well.  got mine with 1500 miles on it in '05.  50,000 on her now.

Me too,,Identical and supposedly the last one out of the plant according to Dag. Now has 30k on it.
