So I don't start a new thread, and to show I did try a search , I noticed quite a few of these on e-Bay and they are significantly cheaper than the other trunks that I've seen. Anyone ever get one or see one? Any feedback on the quality and look on a Valk?

Just remember that you get what you pay for. I remember someone on here (don't remember who) that bought one of those ebay unfinished matazu look alike trunks and wrote up a nice thread about what all he did to it to make it presentable and how he mounted to his Valk. Seem to remember him putting alot of work into it to make it half-way decent. IMHO (which is strickly mine), it didn't turn out all that well for the investment in time and money that he had to put into it. Mustang has a new trunk out now (comes studded and without)..... http://www.mustangseats.com/Product/13304/Covered-Hard-Trunk-Studded-with-ConchosLike their hard/covered saddlebags, they look like they are a Tsukayu product covered in Mustang's material. Tsukayu trunk.... http://www.tsukayu.com/TouringTrunk.htmI've got a Harley Davidson trunk for my Valk. It's the trunk for the Heritage Softail. You can find them new and used on ebay from time to time. I paid about 5 bills for mine new.

I know someone who has a few Interstate trunks....I'm not 100% sure but I think he said he'd take $900.00 apiece for them with all the needed hardware to plug and play on any Valkyrie.

So far, so good. I just installed it at the end of the riding season last year, so can't speak a whole lot about durability. My lady likes the wrap around backrest. I was thrilled that the factory silver matched my custom paint perfectly. It has held up well for several good trips. I am not crazy about the included mounting hardware and will probably have someone fabricate a better mounting plate. It is ABS plastic, not fiberglass and durability remains to be seen. The lock is pretty cheesy, but can be replaced if necessary. The saddlebag lids have to be pulled outward ever so slightly when opening them to avoid touching the trunk, but when done carefully no additional stress is put on the hinges. The rack holes were not pre-drilled; I had to drill them to mount the rack. For the price, I am happy with the setup and the looks. I will try to post another pic from the back if I can find it.

That looks nice the color does match. The size of the trunk is a match also.

It really does look awesome. I am surprised that Leatherlyke doesn't make a trunk to match their saddlebags. I too had considered one of these.

I use it for extra layers and light stuff. According to the manufacturer it will hold two full face helmets. Modular helmets may not fit so well, as some are taller. I found my trunk on eBay, as the prices were even better than Matazu's web site, and I am a poor boy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-MOTORCYCLE-TOURING-PACK-TOUR-TRUNK-Rack-HARLEY-BAG-wrap-around-backrest-/200867643335?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec4a4ffc7 The link shows the whole setup with wrap around backrest and luggage rack for $159 plus $25 shipping. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere on the web. They do offer other colors; I found the silver trunk from the same eBay vendor.

That looks like a great deal, unless they are total junk they are worth that. Worth the gamble.

Yeah, kind of like wearing glove-shaped ear muffs; your ears stay warm but you look odd.
