In need of a CB antenna for the CB I'm installing on my IS. I was looking on the Sierra Web site at the GL1100/1200 antennas. They have a AO-GL12-ANT GL1200 ANTENNA listed that when used with there CP-27 antenna splitter doubles for the radio and CB antennas. I wonder if it would fit the IS radio mount? If not they have a left mount listed for the GL1200. I know the left GL1200 mount works if you modify it a bit. I also wonder if this antenna folds? ANyone done this or have thoughts?

all I can answer about that antenna is that it does not fold down, the bracket ,you might have to do a little modefy. I'm not up on the IS, I ride a F6, but you can make it work with a little customizing.  my thoughts.

I sent an email to sales@sierra-mc.com. They said the AO-GL12-ANT GL1200 ANTENNA is a fold-over. I went ahead and ordered one with the CP-27 splitter. That way I will have one antenna for the radio and CB. I'm going to see if the antenna fits the standard IS radio mount on the right. If not Sierra sell the GL-1200 mount for the left side that I can mod to fit the IS trunk bracket.

I installed the AO-GL12-ANT GL1200 ANTENNA and CP-27 splitter from Sierra. It went right on the Valk radio antenna mount. I put the CP-27 splitter under the seat just back of the radio. The CB and radio work fine off this antenna. The antenna does fold as well. Great setup.
